COACHES
COACH SANDY - Founder of In Bound Gymnastics. Sandy coaches all levels of gymnasts and has coached gymnasts to Regionals, AAU Nationals and USAG-IGC Nationals. She has been coaching since age 20. She started competing as a gymnast at age 4 and competed all levels up to Open Elite. In 1975 she trained for the Montreal Olympics and she trained with Russian coaches for five years.
COACH JAMIE -Co-Owner and Founder of In Bound Gymnastics. Jamie has been teaching preschool, recreational gymnastics, tumbling and coaching compulsory and optional gymnastics since 1993. She moved from Ohio to Georgia in 1995. Jamie has coached gymnasts to State, Regional and National Competitions in Ohio and Georgia. She is a certified Meet Director and currently judges meets throughout Georgia.
COACH BILLY - Joined the In Bound team in summer of 2011. Billy comes to Albany with extensive gymnastics experience coaching all levels of gymnastics, tumbling and cheerleading. He is a 1991 graduate of Western Carolina University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management where he was a cheerleader and also taught beginning to advanced gymnastics. Billy has coached gymnastics in Georgia since 1995 when he moved from North Carolina.
COACH ASHLEIGH - started competing at the age of 6 as a Level 4 gymnast and competed through her senior year of high school up to Level 8. She then started coaching recreation classes and the competitive team. She coached Levels 2 & 3 to AAU Nationals in Savannah in 2009 and also competed herself in the Open Division. Ashleigh currently coaches the Level 5 & 6 team girls where she took them to AAU Nationals in summer of 2011. Ashleigh has also been assisting with coaching the Optional Levels.
COACH JESSICA - started gymnastics at the age of 5 and competed in gymnastics and cheerleading for thirteen years. In 2002, Jessica started coaching recreation classes, the competition and dance in Bainbridge, GA. Jessica came to In Bound in 2005 where she has taught preschool, beginner, intermediate, and Levels 2, 3 & 4. She also currently coaches Upward Cheerleading at her church, First Baptist Church of Cuthbert. Jessica is trained in Special Olympic Gymnastics and holds an Associated Degree in Middle Grades Education.
COACH HAYLEY - started competing in gymnastics at the age of 8 in Level 4 and competed for six years up to Level 6. Hayley has coached recreation classes, tumbling, Beginner, Intermediate, and Levels 2 - 5. In 2008 and 2009 she coached levels 3, 4 & 5 to AAU Nationals and also competed in the 2008 Nationals Open Division in Savannah. She took the team girls to Bella Karolyi's gymnastics camp in Texas the summer of 2010.
COACH LAUREN - started competition cheerleading when she was 4 years old in Stone Mountain, GA. She started coaching when she was 18 and currently teaches recreation gymnastics and tumbling to all ages.
COACH ALEX - started gymnastics at the age of 6 and competed up to Level 7. Alex is currently a student at Lee County High School and coaches recreation and tumbling classes.
COACH RACHEL - started gymnastics at the age of 8 and competed Levels 2 through 9 and was a previous State Champion. Rachel is currently a student at Lee County High School and coaches Advanced Beginner Gymnastics classes as well as tumbling.
STACY & RICKI- Co-Owners of In Bound Gymnastics with Coach Jamie. Ricki serves as the Office Manager for the gym. Both have been involved in gymnastics with their daughters Alex and Kyli.
The staff at In Bound Gymnastics are all safety certified and back ground checked. They are professional members of AAU and USAG. In Bound Gymnastics is fully insured.
